"Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you drive in."
- Bill Bradley "The life of an individual in any society is a series of passages from one stage
to another and from one occupation to another. Yet, although each stage in a person's life may be very different from that which preceded it, an individual is not always aware that one period of his or her life has ended and a new one begun." -Deborah Gray White the Seven Deadly SinsWealth without work
Pleasure without conscience Science without humanity Knowledge without character Politics without principle Commerce without morality Worship without sacrifice ―Mahatma Gandhi What is curiosity? "The determination to not accept as absolute or self evident what has been provided, but instead to question and examine further to look at things in a different way making innovation possible"
- Michel Foucault “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
-Mahatma Gandhi "We survive by breathing but we can't say we live to breathe. Likewise, making money is very important for a business to survive, but money alone cannot be the reason for business to exist."
-Anu Aga, Former Chair, Thermax Ltd. “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

-H. L. Mencken "Dreams and dedication are a powerful combination."
-William Longgood How do we improve each piece by 1%? "The whole principle came from the idea that if you broke down everything you could think of that goes into riding a bike, and then improved it by 1%, you will get a significant increase when you put them all together"
-Sir David John "Dave" Brailsford Dave Brailsford's philosophy of 'marginal gains' brought the British cycling team to win the Tour de France Championship in 3 years since he took charge of coaching, exceeding initial expectation of a 5 year interval. He later brought the British cycling team to win 70% of gold medals in the 2012 London Olympic games. "One should create one's life by giving style to it through long practice and daily work."
-Friedrich Nietzsche the thing about sadnessThere is a unique difference between sadness and melancholy. Everyone gets sad–it happens all the time. But for some reason, several people seem to be more sad and depressed compared to others – if that's even the case at all. In truth, the duration of sadness does not translate with a person having a more sad emotion. It is true that you feel sadder to lose someone that you care about, compared to losing a random accessory that you possessed. But that is only the cause and effect of how much a person cares each subject, which may have a certain correlation on the duration of sadness for a particular threshold. However, the main reason that some people are in a sad situation for a long period of time, is that they are behaving melancholic: the state in which a person voluntarily and repeatedly grasp on a notion of sadness over and over again. This practice is undoubtedly what causes a person's life to be miserable–for he/she is voluntarily ignoring any path towards happiness through any positive emotions. So it is obviously pointless to be overly melancholic of one's sadness. Keep your mind positive and carry on with your exciting and adventurous life!

is the story you tell yourself so you can’t achieve them." -Johnny Webber "Success is getting what you want, happiness is wanting what you get."
-W.P. Kinsella The situation is a catalyst of what the individual is capable of thinking and doing.
"What we have to do is analyze specific rationalities rather than always invoking the progress of rationalization in general."
